Dialogue

The following sections are broken down as follows and present my skills in dialogue content creation:

  • Scriptwriting

  • Barks

Scriptwriting

The following game scripts were written as narrative exercises or as official scripts for unreleased games. While one may be formatted traditionally, another may be done with gaming conventions in mind, utilizing separated sections or spreadsheets to track the various dialogue branches.

Scripts marked with an asterisk (*) contain branching dialogue.

Dialogue Barks

In game design, "barks" are short, often spontaneous NPC lines—shouted in the background or triggered by events— that add atmosphere, convey information, or reveal personality without direct player interaction.
